Hello Keertan Salian here and welcome back to the Salian blogs, it’s a good feeling even after staying inactive for a few months my blog reach has remained consistent and I haven’t lost any followers. Thank you so much for your continuous support❤

Getting back to the title, yes it’s shocking from the former Premier League winner of 2015/16 the legendary team under Claudio Ranieri is now in the relegation zone of this season’s premier league.

Leicester City Fc.

The last 3 games of Leicester City following the sacking of Brandon Rogers have been straight defeats. Leicester City has been inconsistent since the start of the season with 20 losses 4 draws and only 7 wins this season, this fall of the Foxes is a huge surprise. The first game of the season was against Bretford in which Foxes scored 2 goals and were leading at 62' where Ivan Toney scored and made it 2–1 and at 86' min of the game Josh DaSilva scored an equalizer and the game ended on a draw. Since then Foxes lost 6 games and finally won 4–0 in-game week 9 against Nottingham Forest.

Leicester City lost Wesley Fofana, Kasper Schmeichel and Ayoze Pérez, Marc Albrighton and Hamza Choudhury on loan before the start of the season and few replacement signings were done which I feel wasn’t sufficient for the Foxes after watching their dreadful performance this season. Foxes managed to score 4 goals in 4 games which were against Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspurs (It is the history of the Tottenham). The 2020–21 Fa Cup winners are in serious trouble this season. Leicester City's disappointing games this season were against Tottenham in the first half of the season a 6–0 win (sorry about earlier haha) and conceded 5 goals against Brighton Fc. Newcastle and Manchester United scored 3 goals and secured their 3 points

With James Justin, Ryan Bertrand and the club captain Jonny Evans injured and 7 games remaining Leicester sitting 2 points above Southampton and 2 points below Everton and Nottm Forest with the next 7 games Foxes have to get as many points as they can but between those 7 games, they are yet to play against Liverpool.

Current Manager Dean Smith, before joining the club was the manager of the Championship side Norwich City under which he lost 18 matches 5 draws and manages to win only 4 games this season until Boxing Day. With the manager and club having a bad time this season and the remaining 7 games are really crucial for the clubs and the fans.

Leicester City is such a great club and I don’t think anyone would like to see them get relegated. Certainly, I would not like them getting relegated even though they are in lack form I just wish they turn up against Liverpool.

Do you guys think they’ll survive this season or get back to Championship after 9 years i.e they were promoted to the premier league in the 2014/15 season by securing 102 points?

I appreciate reading it so far if you guys like it, then please do share give it a few claps and yes share them among your friends, family and those who love football.

see you soon, take care❤
Hasta la vista❤
