Højlund To The Red Devils??

It’s the pre-season month and I’m sure everyone is excited to see their teams back again surely some of them got their desired players. well speaking about my team Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag got the man he wanted from the Blues, Mason Mount oh my what a player he is with him on our side it’s gonna be amazing to see him perform alongside our ferocious player aka Bruno Fernandes on the attack. Since David De Gea left as a club legend our No. 1 spot for keeper is empty and the rumours suggest André Onana is going to be the replacement for De Gea. He is another fantastic keeper, he’s good with the ball under his feet which is one of the most important traits in the modern football world.

As the title says we are here to discover about the new Erling Haaland as many fans say. His name is Rasmus Højlund, a Danish centre forward who currently plays for Atalanta BC of course he is under the radar of Manchester United and they are hoping to sign him, Atalanta already rejected a €40m bid from United since they are expecting an offer of €60m for him and he is just 20!! imagine being the age of just 20 years and teams like Manchester United are ready to cash in €60m.

Højlund joined Atalanta BC On 27 August 2022 for €17 and played over 30 matches scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists including Serie A and Italy Cup. Before joining the Italian Club he was brought from the Austrian Football Bundesliga’s club SK Sturm Graz where he made a total of 21 appearances and scored 12 goals with 4 assists provided. During his time with SK Sturm Graz, his team won the Austrian Cup Winner which was against SK Rapid Wien by a 2–0 goal.
Højlund performance with his national team Denmark up till now he’s made 6 appearances and scored all 6 goals in European Qualifiers. The way he plays is a joy to watch. He takes every chance he has towards the goal
During the game against Finland on 23rd March 2023, Højlund scored a beautiful hat trick and won the game by 3–1.
As a striker, one of the most important attributes is making runs, finding space between the defenders, and creating goal-scoring chances i.e. to convert all chances.

As you can see after passing the ball back he was offside and then he dropped below and found the space between the defence line of Slovenia when the cross was delivered by Højbjerg, Højlund was at the right time at the right place between the defender and puts the ball back in the net. He did outsmart the opposition’s defence line just by a simple movement, these are the important runs to make when the ball is not under your feet.
Indeed he is quick with the ball, he’s that guy with 99 paces, with him joining Manchester United, the attacking power of the Reds would be just amazing with a lot of potential to score (not to jinx)
Here is another clip where you can see him diverting the defender, this shows that even a small movement of a player can make a huge difference on the pitch and then make that perfect run to get into that space and score the goal.
His finishing is top-class, and he is the perfect candidate for the striker position which Manchester United should go for it. After the signing of Onana from Inter Milan, manchester united are ready to cash in €70m. With him signing for the Reds I guess that would sum up the transfer window of Manchester United
