Dennis Bergkamp is a Dutch former player and professional football coach. His original position was a wide midfielder and then he moved to the main striker to the second striker and remained as the second striker throughout his career. His nickname was "Non-Flying Dutchman"
by the Arsenal fans due to his fear of playing. Dennis is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

His youth career began with Ajax and was promoted to the senior squad in 1998 and made his professional debut with Ajax. For Ajax, he made 185 appearances and scored 103 goals. In 1993 he signed for Italian club Inter Milan. In Inter Milan he made 52 appearances and scored 11 goals which were quite disappointing for Inter Milan fans. In 1995 he shined with English side Club Arsenal where he made 315 appearances. He then helped Arsenal to win three Premier League titles, four FA Cup titles and reach the 2006 UEFA Champions League which marked his last appearance as a professional footballer. In 2011 he was appointed as Assist manager for his childhood Club Ajax till 2017. He is currently an assistant manager for Almere City U21.For

In The Netherlands, he made a total of 79 appearances and scored 37 goals and 10 assists. Bergkamp was also selected for Euro 1992 where he earned his name and scored 3 Goals as his county reached the semi-final. He scored a memorable winning goal in the final minute of the quarter-final against Argentina in 1998 FIFA World Cup and was also regarded as the great FIFA Goals. Bergkamp also surpassed Faas Wilkes’s record to become the county’s all-time top scorer in 1998 a record which was later surpassed by Patrick Kluivert, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Robin van Persie. In 2017 his goal against Newcastle United in 2002 was voted as the best Premier League goals of all time in the league 25- year history

Dennis Bergkamp has won Five times Top scorer in 93/94;92/93;91/92;91/92;90/91. Three times Player Of The Year for one time for Arsenal (97/98) and two times for Ajax (91/92) (90/91). Two times Footballer Of The Year in 1992 and 1991 for the Netherlands. Three times English Champion in 1998,2002,2004. Four times English FA Cup champions in 1998,2002,2003,2005. One time Dutch Champion 89/90 season. Two times Dutch Cup winner in 86/87 and 92/93. Two times UEFA Winner one time for Ajax 91/92 and one time for Inter Milan 93/94. He won one Europapokal Der Pokalsieger Sieger in 86/87. Three times English Super Cup Winner in 1998,2002,2004.
